Bornze ~ 2021 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada
Harvested from our premium vineyard plantings of clone 214 Cabernet Franc in Osoyoos, this wine was fermented in small lots and aged in 100% French oak for 2 years with further cellaring in bottle. Our 2017 Cabernet Franc gives floral aromatics of violets and white flowers, with classic notes of raspberry, plum, blueberry and capsicum. The palate is framed by a smoky pepperiness with dark fruit and a velvety tannin finish. Pair with pork dishes, green bean casserole, Cornish game hen, rib-eye with gorgonzola butter and lasagna.
