Icewine is a concentrated, sweet dessert wine produced from white or red grapes frozen while still on the vine. All Bench 1775 icewines carry Canadaâs Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) seal of approval. The grapes must be frozen, and the air temperature must be -8° C or lower at the time of harvest and pass through the BC VQA assessment to be sold as BC VQA Icewine.
