Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Upland and Maynard Vineyards on the Naramata Bench, where slightly cooler conditions and diverse soils lend lift, aromatic detail, and subtle herbal nuance. Aged for 24 months in French oak, the wine shows depth and polish while retaining freshness.
Deep ruby in colour, the nose opens with blackcurrant, red cherry, and plum, layered with dried sage, bay leaf, graphite, and well-integrated notes of vanilla, cedar, and cocoa. The palate is medium-plus to full-bodied, offering flavours of cassis, black cherry, and redcurrant, supported by espresso, dark chocolate, and warm baking spice from oak. Firm yet refined tannins and bright natural acidity carry the wine through a long, elegant, and gently savoury finish.
This Cabernet pairs beautifully with grilled steak, braised lamb, mushroom-based dishes, or aged cheeses.
