The 2018 Malbec was produced from fruit in Osoyoos. The heat in Osoyoos ensures that we get high enough brix to ripen the Malbec so that the wine displays dense fruit characters. After primary fermentation the wine was aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months. The 2018 Malbec has notes of cedar, blueberry, cassis and plum, on the nose. The palate has soft fruit flavors of cherry, blueberry, plum and finishes with light tannins.
Pair this Malbec with iberico ham, Enchiladas, Fajitas, Peking duck, spaghetti Bolognese, BBQ off the smoker and Stilton and Manchego cheeses.
