The Cabernet Sauvignon came from our east facing vineyard in Osoyoos, and the Merlot from our vineyard on the Naramata bench. The two varieties were harvested, fermented and barrel aged separately. The resulting blend displays aromas of black cherry, plum, tobacco, eucalyptus and spice, which leads to notes of cassis, dark fruit, tobacco and mocha on the palate. Pair with steak topped with gorgonzola butter, loaded veggie burgers, eggplant curry, Cornish game hen with wild rice, and hard cheeses.
