The fruit for the 2019 Gewurztraminer was sourced from our vineyards in Naramata. The Gewurztraminer was hand picked in late September and processed immediately. Picked earlier than most vintages, due to flavor development and high sugars. The Gewurztraminer was fermented in 100% stain-less steel to produce a fresh and crisp style with low residual sugar.
The Bench 1775 Gewurztraminer begins with floral aromas, accompanied by Lychee, pineapple, ginger, grapefruit rind and allspice. Medium weight with flavors of citrus, Lychee, apricot, ginger and spice.
