An exciting new varietal has arrived at Bench 1775! Grown in our Stone Slope vineyard, located in the Similkameen Valley of Keremeos, is our Zweigelt. This hybrid grape originated in Austria back in the 1920’s & happens to be named after the professor who created it, Dr. Fritz Zweigelt. With notes of raspberry, bright cherry, spicy red peppercorn & salty licorice, and aromatics of brambleberry pie, this wines structure & body has pronounced tannin with a soft, long lasting finish suited best for your first Spring time picnic at the park.
